Good food, closer to home
Hard knocks farms is an Ontario farm idea built around a simple goal: helping neighbours access affordable meat and seasonal vegetables when grocery prices feel too high. Explore what is available, choose a bundle that works for your household, or share your own extra harvest with the community.

A practical farm idea for Ontario neighbours
Hard knocks farms began with a familiar frustration: high grocery prices for meat and even vegetables that are in season. We are trying a community-minded approach to local food—offering farm products while welcoming others who have extra bounty to share.

Good food should not feel out of reach. Check what is available from Hard knocks farms and discover a simpler way to bring seasonal vegetables and meat home.
